Kaspersky Lab, one of the world’s fastest growing IT security vendors and the world’s largest privately held vendor of endpoint protection solutions, bags the Directorate General Supplies and Disposals (DGS&D)rate contract agreement to address the need of IT security for the government organizations. The contract will be operational till 31st October 2016.
Through the rate contract agreement, supported by UMG Solutions, an exclusive bidder,on behalf of Kaspersky Lab, for DGS&D rate contract, the company will be able to cater its security solutions for the government institutions.
Kaspersky Lab targets to enhance its customer base in various government sectors, Altaf Halde, Managing Director- Kaspersky Lab South Asia said, “We will be able to expedite the Digital India revolution by offering our security solution to various government institutions & verticalsincluding State, Central, PSU’s, Defence and other departments. This development also compliments the government’s initiative for the Smart Cities project”.
