In a time when phishing attacks are increasingly rampant, with an astonishing 515 million attempts thwarted in just six months, the need for strong cybersecurity solutions is paramount. Kaspersky Premium for Windows has proven its reliability by achieving the top result in the 2024 Anti-Phishing Test conducted by AV-Comparatives. Kaspersky’s solution earned an ‘Approved’ certification by detecting 93% of phishing URLs, the highest among the 15 participants. This achievement underscores Kaspersky’s dedication to protecting users from potential data loss and ensuring a secure digital experience.
Kaspersky statistics highlight that phishing remains a widespread and popular attack method. In the first half of 2024 alone, Kaspersky’s Anti-Phishing system blocked 515 million phishing attempts. Comparatively, the annual report “Spam and Phishing 2023” noted that 709 million phishing attempts were detected throughout the entire year of 2023.
The Anti-Phishing Test by AV-Comparatives assesses the effectiveness of security solutions in protecting users from phishing threats during web browsing and webmail use. The 2024 test involved active phishing URLs targeting login credentials for services such as PayPal, banks, and social networks.
Kaspersky Premium for Windows received the “Approved” certification from AV-Comparatives in the Anti-Phishing Test, confirming its capability to shield users from malicious websites that aim to steal sensitive information.
In the 2024 evaluation, Kaspersky Premium for Windows showed the highest protection rate by detecting 93% of phishing URLs. It also demonstrated reliability with no false alarms recorded on legitimate websites tested.
This year, only 8 out of 15 vendors met the criteria to pass the certification process.
