Konica Minolta Among Top 100 Companies In Asia In Sustainability
Based on the Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Ranking 2015
Earlier this month, global technology company Konica Minolta, Inc. was ranked 27th on the Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Ranking 2015. In addition, the company came out top in the industry of print and enterprise content management.
Jointly organised by regional broadcaster Channel NewsAsia, CSR Asia, a provider of advisory, research and training services on sustainable business practices in Asia, and Sustainalytics, a leading provider of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ratings and research, the exclusive, annual ranking grades the corporate sustainability performance of the top 100 companies in the region. The countries covered are China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and for the first time in 2015 — Japan.

The regional ranking follows recent global developments where Konica Minolta was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for the fourth consecutive year. It was also the seventh year in a row the company was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific). Highly-recognised among institutional investors with keen interests in CSR management and sustainability, the index identifies companies around the world for their economic, environmental and social performance.
