Tecno Camon 16 is ready to be launched in the country on 10th October 2020. The phone has been recently teased through the company’s social media platforms, and a page has been dedicated which will go live on Flipkart too. This settles availability on Flipkart. The Tecno Camon 16 is rumored to have a quad-camera setup at the back with a primary camera of 64-mp. The phone seems to be a little stripped-down version of the Tecno Camon 16 Premier that was introduced in September.
The launch date has been established through a devoted page on Flipkart. The phone will introduce in the country on 10th October at 12 pm. This dedicated page also confirms that it will be available on Flipkart. Besides that, the page reveals that the smartphone will come in a Silver gradient finish, but more options will be available at the launch.

The Flipkart page reveals the structure of the smartphone too, and it has a hole-punch display with a cut-out for a single selfie camera. The premier of the smartphone showcased the presence of a dual selfie camera setup. The smartphone has a parallel quad-camera setup at the back, with the primary sensor of 64mp. Strikingly, at the back, there is a presence of a rear fingerprint sensor. Conversely, the model showcased at the Premier had a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The new smartphone was mentioned alongside the Tecno Camon 16 Premier at the worldwide launch previous month. There was a 3rd Tecno Camon 16 Pro model which was also launched as well. Though, the company hasn’t shared any information about the 2 models. The Premier model was launched for 28,499 Kenyan shillings and given that the Tecno Camon 16 is a lower version of Tecno Camon 16 Premier, it is expected that the price shall be less. The company will release more information about Tecno Camon 16 in the approaching days.
