IT Voice News: Lava has introduced a new tablet in its Xtron series in India, dubbed as Xtron Z704 for Rs. 6,499. As per the company, the tablet has been exclusively designed college-going students and young professionals.
During the launch, SN Rai, co-founder and director, Lava International noted, “We made Xtron Z704 tablet keeping in mind the needs of new age students who are shifting to the online platform to seek additional avenues of learning and are not restrict themselves just to books. They are smart students who constantly browse the internet for information and like using new age technology & products to make learning fun and practical. With all the latest features packed in this portable & pocket friendly tablet, we hope Xtron Z704 will be the perfect companion of such students.”
Lava Xtron Z704 supports Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features 17.78-cm (7-inch) display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The device is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT8127) processor, backed by 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Xtron Z704 packs 2MP rear camera without flash, 0.3MP front camera and 4000mAh battery. On connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS, HDMI, and GPRS/ EDGE options.
