Indian smartphone brand Lava has launched another entry-level smartphone, A56, in India. The company has priced the device at Rs 4,199 and it will be available with all big retailers across the country.
The dual-SIM Lava A56 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Lava A56 offers 4GB of internal storage and the users can expand it up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.
The new Lava smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. The device packs 1,850 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connecitivity options.
Earlier today, Lava launched the X28 smartphone in India at Rs 7,349. It has a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.
The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box and supports 4G. The device also supports LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). It also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility and can support Reliance Jio network.
Lava X28 sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera with LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 2,600 mAh battery and claims to offer up to 14 hours of talktime on 3G. For connectivity the device offers 3G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
