Indian handset maker Lava has recently introduced X1 Selfie under its Iris series of smartphones. Priced at ₹6777, Lava Iris X1 Selfie is definitely an affordable phone boasting 5MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. The pocket-friendly device aims to offer an exclusive photography experience to its customers.

It enables you to click photos with V Gesture for front camera and has smile detection feature for both front as well as rear camera. Just say Capture or Cheese and the phone’s voice controlled camera will click selfies for you.

If we talk about the specifications, Lava Iris X1 Selfie sports an 11.43cm (4.5-inch) IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor coupled with 1GB RAM, the phone claims to have 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

 Backed by a 2000mAh battery, the device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
