Home grown manufacturer Lava has launched a new budget Android device into the Indian market. The Lava Iris 402e smartphone is now up for grabs at a price tag of Rs 4,999.
The Lava Iris 402e features a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA display with a 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 3MP rear camera without flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It comes with 512MB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and comes with support for 10 Indian languages. Connectivity options include: Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi (including hotspot functionality), and GPS. It decks in a 1450mAh Li-Ion battery.
