Months after the launch of Lava IvoryS tablet, Lava has launched another sub-Rs. 10,000 tablet in India, the IvoryE, priced at Rs. 6,099.The Lava IvoryE has been listed on the company’s website with price. However, no official announcements have been made about retail availability.
As per the official website listing page, the tablet comes with a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The Lava IvoryE features a 7-inch HD (600×1024 pixel) LCD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (unspecified version) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The tablet comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera and there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Lava IvoryE comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Connectivity options on the Lava IvoryE tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS/ EDGE . The Lava IvoryE packs a 2500mAh battery, measures 189x110x8.9mm and weighs 300 grams.
Earlier this month, Lava launched five new smartphones in its Iris range – Iris 404 Flair, Iris 400s, Iris 250, Iris 410 and Iris 400 Colours – priced between Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000. As of now, the company has not revealed the pricing for all individual smartphones, instead has only confirmed the price range.
The company details that out of the 5 smartphones, 3 support 3G connectivity (Iris 400s, Iris 250, and Iris 400 Colours), while the Iris 410 and Iris 404 Flair only support 2G (GPRS/ EDGE). The detailed specifications of the smartphones can be seen here.
