Indian tech firm Lava has silently unveiled a new budget smartphone named Lava Flair Z1. Priced at Rs. 5699, the pocket friendly device would be available exclusively on Snapdeal. Lava had previously launched Flair P1 which was an entry level smartphone available at all retail stores across India.
Lava Flair Z1 sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) FWVGA TFT display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the phone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD. Backed by a 2000mAh lithium polymer battery, the device claims to deliver up to 9 hours 40 minutes talk time on 3G and 15 hours 30 minutes of talk time on 2G networks.
The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and measuring 143.5 x 72.5 x 8.9mm. It has a 5MP rear camera with additional features like HD recording, photo timer and HDR mode along with a 2MP front-facing camera. Its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1. The handset has decent features and is expected to be available in white and black variants.
