Lava has announced a new variant of the recently released Pixel V1 in India. Dubbed as Pixel V2, the new handset is expected to refine smartphone photography. Being the second device under Pixel series, the phone would be available at the price of Rs 10,750 which is lesser than its predecessor. Reports further suggest that renowned fashion photographer Subi Samuel has joined hands with Lava for this much-hyped product.
Lava Pixel V2 features a 12. 7cm (5-inch) HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, the phone comes with 16GB ROM with expandability upto 32GB via microSD card. Packed with a 2500mAh battery, the device comes with Asahi Dragontail Glass assuring scratch resistance
The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Star OS 2.0 on top. It sports a robust 13MP rear camera with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 5p Largan Lens and Blue Glass Filter with dual-LED flash, besides a decent 8MP front-facing camera with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, 4p lens with LED flash for capturing beautiful selfies. The handset also includes various photography features like wide angle selfie, night mode, Pic Focus, Face Beauty, Intelligent Mode and gif maker. With the connectivity of Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G/ LTE and 4G Band, the Lava Pixel V2 is available in Icy White and Royal Black.
