The Indian smartphone maker Lava has added yet another budget device to its product portfolio with the launch of Lava X3. The company has priced the handset at Rs 6,499 and it will be available via Flipkat and Amazon in Silver, White and Gold colour options.
The Lava X3 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The smartphone comes with dual sim functionality and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The device offers 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card.
The Lava X3 comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing snapper for clicking selfies. Its connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and houses a 2,500 mAh battery.
Last month, Lava launched its flagship smartphone called Lava V5 at a price of Rs 11,499. The Lava V5 4G features a 5.5-inch HD display protected with a coating of Corning Gorillas Glass 3 on top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of the handset accounts to 16GB with a microSD card support up to 32GB.
