LeEco and Coolpad launched their Cool 1 Dual smartphone a few months back. The smartphone was the first result of a joint effort by the two companies, after LeEco acquired a controlling stake in Coolpad. And now, it seems that the two companies are all set to launch another handset.
An announced smartphone recently passed through Chinese certification website TENAA. Likely to be called Cool, the handset has a promising and flagship-class spec sheet.
According to the details available on TENAA, as reported by Gizmochina website, the new LeEco Cool will be powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It’ll also come in three internal storage variants 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
The yet-to-be-launched LeEco Cool is expected to have a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It’ll run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, skinned with LeEco’s own EUI skin layer.
For imaging duties, the LeEco Cool is rumoured to come with a 16MP rear camera (with LED flash) and an 8MP front-facing shooter. With all standard connectivity options such as 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS included in the mix, the smartphone is likely to have a large 4,000mAh battery.
There’s no word regarding the launch date and subsequent availability of the LeEco Cool as of yet.
LeEco recently made its debut in the United States with the launch of two smartphones – Le Pro 3 and Le 3S.
Both smartphones went on sale in the country from November 2 and are available online via the company’s official e-commerce website LeMall.com. The company is offering Le rewards to the consumers, which will include discounts on both the smartphones.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with the EUI of the company.
On the other hand, Le S3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
