A latest budget smartphone from Lenovo has entered the Indian market at an affordable price and with some excellent features.
Lenovo A536, a new budget Android smartphone, has been launched at the price range of Rs 8,999. Available in white and black colour variants, Lenovo A536 sports a 12.7-cm (5-inch) FWVGA (480x854p) twisted nematic display.
The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582m quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat which is till date the latest running Android operating system. The device is pre-loaded with Lenovo’s proprietary ‘DOit‘ apps which allow users share, secure and sync information.
The device also features 5MP auto-focus rear camera which is enabled with LED flash and a 2MP fixed focus front-facing camera too. It is a dual-SIM supportive device and its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. It has a 2000mAh battery and its standby time is of 12.5 days and talk time of 12 hours on 3G networks. Lenovo A536 has been launched at a time when the smartphone market is full of budget phones including Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Asus ZenFone 4 and 5, and Motorola Moto E.
