Lenovo Announces New Vibe S1, P1 And P1m Phones At IFA 2015
After Sony Mobiles unveiled its Xperia Z5 family, another PC manufacturer turned smartphone maker Lenovo has taken the lid off its new phone and phablets range during IFA 2015 trade show. The firm has reportedly announced three smartphones and two phablets with bizarre specifications. It introduced its new Vibe series for smartphone which comprises the Vibe S1, Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m along with two phablets under Phab series.
Out of the three handsets from the new Vibe family, Lenovo Vibe S1 makes its mark by being world’s first phone with two front cameras.
If we talk about other specifications, Lenovo Vibe S1 sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Powered by 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, the phone comes with 32GB in-built storage with expandability upto 128GB via microSD card. Packed with a massive non-removable 2500mAh battery, the device weighs 132 grams and supports 4G connectivity.
It features a massive 13MP rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus and an 8MP main front-facing shooter besides a 2MP secondary front camera. With the connectivity of GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the much-hyped phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.
