Lenovo has launched its thinnest 2-in-1 hybrid tablet Yoga Book in India at Rs 49,990. Unveiled at IFA in Berlin earlier this year, Yoga Book comes with a Halo Keyboard and a real-pen accessory. Halo keyboard is a full touch-screen backlit slate-like keyboard sans physical keys powered by artificial intelligence. With the real-pen accessory, users can draw on the Halo keyboard just like a real pen.
Weighing about 690gm and 9.6mm in thickness, Yoga Book is a stylish looking hybrid that feels exactly like a laptop when one holds it. With a 360-degree foldable hinge, the Yoga Book can be used in four modes. First is Lay-flat Create mode that is perfect for using the laptop while lying down to make notes and sketching. The second mode is Watch mode, which is apt for watching movies and videos. The third mode is Browse mode that enables users to use it as a portable tablet; the last, but not the least, is the Type mode that allows users to use Yoga Book as a laptop.
The Yoga Book is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 quad-core processor with Windows 10 Home and Dolby Audio Premium for enhanced sound delivery. It is backed by 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device also packs an 8,500mAh battery which the company claims will give you 13 hours of general usage and over 70 days of standby time.
The Yoga Book sports a 10.1-inch FHD IPD (1920×1200) display that has 16.7 million colour depth and 70% of colour gamut. On camera front, there’s an 8MP rear camera with auto-Focus and 2MP front camera with Fixed-Focus. It has a nano sim card slot which also doubles as a microSD card tray. Other connectivity options include micro USB (which can also be used as charging port) and an HDMI port.
The Yoga Book is exclusively available on Flipkart staring today (December 13).
