Lenovo has recently unveiled a new smartphone under its phablet range. Dubbed as Phab Plus, the new massive smartphone has been introduced in its home country by the Chinese tech giant. Priced at &8377; 27,000, the phone will be available through China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom telecom providers. However, there is no word regarding its availability in India and other countries.
The new Phab Plus smartphone sports a 17.27cm (6.8-inch) full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU, the phablet comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB ROM with storage expandability via microSD card. Packed with a 3500mAh battery, the device claims to deliver upto 24 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time.
The phone runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI. It features a robust 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, besides a 5MP front-facing camera. With the connectivity of 4G, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB, the impressive device is expected to be available in Metallic Grey and Midnight Blue variants.
