Lenovo launches Yoga 920 limited edition Vibes in India at a starting price of 1,27,150
While some companies have experimented with launching gadgets featuring glass finish, they do come with their own set of problems. Even though it makes the product look pretty and premium, it acts as a major fingerprint magnet. However, that doesn’t stop companies to launch products with this feature. One such product now comes from Lenovo. The company has announced a 2-in-1 glass convertible laptop called the Yoga 920 limited edition Vibes. It comes at a starting price of Rs 1,27,150, and will be available both online and offline.
The convertible Yoga 920 offers a limited-edition glass cover design, which the company is calling Vibes. This Vibes design was crowdsourced through a contest. The 2-in-1 device also comes with a digital pen with 4096 levels of sensitivity. The device comes equipped with far-field technology, which enables Cortana, to recognize voice commands from up to 4 meters away and in standby mode.
In terms of specs, the laptop comes with a 13.9-inch screen in two display options — UHD (3840 x 2160) and FHD (1920 x 1080). Lenovo is claiming that the battery output of the former is up to 10.8 hours and the latter is up to 15.5 hours. It is powered by 8th Gen Intel Quad Core U Series processors with integrated Intel HD graphics. Running Windows 10 Home operating system, the device comes in three storage variants — 8 GB DDR4, 12 GB DDR4, 16 GB DDR4 with respectively 256 GB PCIe SSD, 512 GB PCIe SSD, 1 TB PCIe SSD.
For connectivity, it has 1 USB 3.0 with always-on charging, 2 USB C (Thunderbolt, PD, DP, USB 3.0 full-function), 1 Audio jack, 802.11 a/c 2×2 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1.
Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Thadani, Executive Director – Consumer Business and e-commerce, Lenovo India said, “The YOGA brand has been central to Lenovo’s leadership in the fastest growing PC category of convertibles. Yoga 920 is an ultra-premium convertible that packs the best of features in an unbelievably thin and light metal body. It captures the essence of Lenovo’s effort to give customer-centric products that are different, disruptive and innovative and solve real computing, entertainment and mobility issues, in style.”
