Within three months of launching the A6000 smartphone in the Indian market, Lenovo has unveiled an upgraded version of the smartphone.
Dubbed as Lenovo A6000 Plus, the new smartphone is targeted to the consumers, who want more internal storage and RAM in their phones and are willing to pay for it. The A6000 Plus includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, instead of the 1GB RAM and 8GB storage present in A6000.
Lenovo A6000 Plus is powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 306 GPU and runs Android KitKat 4.4. Powered by a 2300 mAh battery, its connectivity options include 4G, dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The device has an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP fixed focus front camera and supports two micro SIM-card slots.
The announcement of the new smartphone comes a day after the company sold nearly 30,000 units of its new A7000 smartphone on Flipkart in flat four seconds. While, the A6000 was priced at Rs 6999, we are still not sure about the cost of A6000 Plus. The device, however, is a 4G smartphone.
