Lenovo Unveils New Gaming Laptop @ Rs 1,25000

Lenovo has unveiled a new offering under its gaming laptop range. Dubbed as IdeaPad Y700-17ISK, the laptop was announced during Lenovo India Gaming Week in Mumbai. Priced at Rs. 1,25,000, the pre-orders for the latest gaming laptop is expected to begin from October 1. The firm has also announced that the product will be shipped along with free gaming accessories worth Rs 9555 for the first 30 pre-orders, which would include a gaming mouse, gaming surround sound headset and gaming precision mouse.

The IdeaPad Y700-17ISK features a 43.94cm (17.3-inch) full HD IPS panel display. Powered by a the 6th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor coupled with 16GB DDR4 RAM, the device comes with 1TB hard drive besides a 128GB SSD for faster booting and loading applications. Weighing 3.5 kg, the IdeaPad Y700 might not be a portable laptop but it houses the NVIDIA GTX 960M discrete graphics solution and a JBL speaker set. Sporting a black and red coloured design elements, the laptop claims to work for 4 consecutive hours.

Speaking at the launch, Shailendra Katyal, director e-commerce, strategy and analytics said, “The Indian gaming industry is growing exponentially and there is an immense opportunity to cater to the discerning modern gamer who requires a premium PC to play out of the box. Created from ground up to serve this segment, the Y700 offers futuristic design, premium build quality and powerful hardware.”
