LG K8 (2018), K10 (2018) Announced Ahead of MWC 2018

LG’s K series smartphones in a way have become the company’s flag bearers in the mid and budget segment. The series has already seen a couple of annual upgrades and will be witnessing another upgrade this year in the form of K8 (2018) and K10 (2018) smartphones. The company, in its usual fashion, has unveiled the smartphone details ahead of MWC 2018 conference. These will showcased at the conference.

The two smartphones are said to include features that pitch them the ‘rivals’ to some of the flagships. The K8 (2018) and K10 (2018) will be reaching Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. The launch time frame and the price of the smartphones are not out yet.
As far as the specifications go, the LG K10 (2018) will be running Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS skinned by LG’s own UX and features a 5.3-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) In-cell Touch display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core processor that the company has not yet specified.
Based on the RAM and inbuilt storage the handset comes in two variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 2GB RAM + 16GB storage. On the camera front as well, the smartphone may have different set of specifications for different regions. It may come in two combinations:

-13MP rear camera + 8MP or 5MP front camera

-8MP rear camera + 5MP front camera

Backing the device will be a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Measuring 148.7 x 75.3 x 8.68mm, the LG K10 (2018) will arrive in three colour combinations – Moroccan Blue/Terra Gold, Aurora Black/Moroccan Blue/Terra Gold and Aurora Black/Terra Gold. You get the other features as well like fingerprint scanner.
The less powerful LG K8 (2018) has a smaller screen at 5.0-inch. It will be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz and comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage. It features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Backed by 2500mAh removable battery, the smartphone will be coming in three colour variants – Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Terra Gold.
