NEW DELHI: Its been barely a month since LG launched Nexus 5X in India, and the smartphone has already got price cuts on leading e-commerce websites. The 16GB variant has got a price cut of around Rs 7,000. Launched at Rs 31,990 the smartphone is now available at Rs 25,249 on Flipkart, Rs 24,573 on Amazon and Rs 25,900 on Snapdeal. The 32GB variant, which was priced at Rs 35,990, has received a price cut of around Rs 4,000 and is now available at Rs 32,875 on Flipkart, Rs 31,990 on Amazon and Rs 31,300 on Snapdeal. The new prices have made Nexus 5X — which was regarded overpriced with its launch price tag — an attractive buy. So far, there’s no official confirmation if the price cuts are temporary or here to stay.Interestingly, Huawei Nexus 6P, which got launched same time as Nexus 5X, has received no such price cuts. Nexus 5X has a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD (1080x1920p) resolution, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on the 64-bit Snapdragon 808 processor with 2GB RAM. It also features a 12.3MP camera and has a 1.55micron sensor and is backed by a laser auto focus for faster capturing; it can shoot videos in high-resolution 4K videos as well 120fps videos. It has 5MP front camera, 2,700mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
