LG has announced the launch of Super (Ultra-High-Definition) UHD TV. The new TV series come up with ColorPrime technology.
The TV is designed in a slimmer size which becomes ideal for stylish home interiors.The new series is available in 79/65/55 sizes with starting price of Rs. 294,900 onwards.
ColorPrime technology helps in displaying brighter and crisper images on television. It features ULTRA Luminance, a 4K In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel and a Prime Mastering Engine, which offers cinema-like experience. Users can also get UHD with colour reproduction over 120 per cent than ordinary UHD.
The new TV features IPS 4K display, which offers identical color impression to that of the original image with reduced color distortion. It also delivers consistent color from any angle. The TV has WebOS 2.0 interface, making it smarter and faster with included updated features such as My Channel, input picker, quick settings and smart share.
UHD TV includes the new My Channel option through which users can save favourite ‘Live TV’ channels or set top box channels to the Launcher for quick and easy access. It has Magic Motion Remote Control which helps in easy switching along with simpler connectivity options. The remote also acts as a universal remote for easy control of the set top box, Blu-ray player, sound bar and home theatres.
