LG To Globally Launch Its Foldable Rolly Keyboard Soon

LG is all set to officially launch its foldable full-sized lg-rolly-keyboard-1keyboard, dubbed Rolly Keyboard globally. The company has released a video of the keyboard along with the tag line – ‘Ready to roll? Get your ideas down as soon as they arrive with the new ultra-portable LG Rolly Keyboard.’

LG first showcased the Rolly Keyboard at IFA 2015 in Berlin. The full sized keyboard comes with four rows of keys which can be folded easily, thus making the device ultra portable. The keyboard also consists of high-contrast keys and a fold out mobile device stand. LG claims that the Rolly Keyboard is simple to use and comes with a 17-mm key pitch, which is similar to the 18-mm key pitch of any regular keyboard.

The keyboard sports an impact-resistant polycarbonate body and has two foldable arms to hold both smartphone and tablets equally well. Users can pair the keyboard with devices using Bluetooth which gets activated automatically once the device is unfolded. Along with this, the keyboard can be paired with two devices at a time with a press of a single key. It packs an AAA battery which promises to give up to three months of battery backup.

LG recently launched two new smartphones – X5 and X Skin in Korea. Both smartphones were announced last month in the country, and are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor each. Both X5 and X Skin run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

While LG X5 comes in White and Indigo Black colour options, its sibling LG X Skin comes in Gold and Titanium colour variants.
