Having launched its X Screen smartphone in India back in July, LG has now added another device to its X line-up – the X Cam. Priced at Rs 19,990, the X Cam is available at retail stores across the country.
The South Korean giant announced the new mid-range X series of ‘specialist’ smartphones at the Mobile World Congress, in February this year. In the same month, LG also launched the X Screen in its home country of Korea.
LG claims that every smartphone in the series has a special feature. As the name suggests, the X Cam features a dual camera setup. This involves a 13MP module and a 5MP module, which is capable of 120-degree wide angle shooting. There’s also an LED flash to back the two up.
As for the specifications, the LG X Cam features a 5.2-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by an octa-core processor. The smartphone offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD cards.
The dual-sim capable LG X Cam is backed by a 2,520mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
LG launched the X Screen in India recently. Priced at Rs 12,999, the device is available exclusively on Snapdeal. It has a 4.93-inch HD primary display and a secondary ‘Always-on’ screen measuring 1.76-inch, similar to the one in the LG V10.
The second screen can be used to access frequently-used apps, answer calls without interrupting current activity, check time & date, battery status and other notifications without waking up the device.
