LinkedIn and Twitter have rolled out some important updates to their apps on BlackBerry 10 platform.
LinkedIn and Twitter have released updates to their respective apps for BlackBerry 10 platform. The updates include a range of new features as well as improved interface.
LinkedIn for BlackBerry 10 has changed its “visual styling”, bringing the platform closer to its Android and iOS counterparts, which received the update last month. The app now allows users to import personal address book from their Z10 or Q10 device. This is likely to make it easier for users to find and connect with people in their contacts via LinkedIn.
LinkedIn’s company pages has also been updated, featuring information that notifies user how they’re connected, job openings and recommended companies to be followed. It also includes news and other updates.
Other major changes include improvement to inbox section, which now supports ability to delete and archive message. Moreover, users can update their pic within the app.
Twitter has made some minor yet important changes. This includes tweak to the way users are shown related content. The update brings Universal Search, which shows related profiles, tweets and top tweets. It also includes photos and relevant search queries.
Both apps are available for free download from the BlackBerry World store.
