Logitech has introduced a couple of new PC gaming accessories in India. The list includes the G603 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse and the G613 Lightspeed wireless mechanical gaming keyboard. The mouse and the keyboard are already available with retailers and will cost you Rs 5,995 and Rs 8,495 respectively.
The accessory maker stresses on the inclusion of a new ‘Hero; optical sensor in the G603 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse. It says that ‘HERO’ stands for High Efficiency Rated Optical and delivers ‘next-generation efficiency’. The sensor is being touted for its precision and accuracy at 12,000 DPI without any acceleration and smoothing. Logitech also claims it to be 10 times more efficient than the previous sensors.
Logitech G603 Lightspeed is supposed to deliver over 500 hours of non-stop gaming and 1ms report rate. One can even use the toggle button in the mouse to switch between HI and LO modes. HI mode can be used while playing games while the LO mode is for general usage.
These modes however, shouldn’t be confused with the sensitivity levels of the mouse. There are a total of six programmable buttons on the device, one of which can be used to change the sensitivity levels.
The mouse has the ability to connect with two devices at once and uses two AA batteries to keep the fuel burning. It will also save the time to get installed in every new device as it has an onboard memory. Using this, you can save your customised settings, plug it into a new device, and play like you did in the previous one. The G613 wireless mechanical keyboard, as the name suggests, has mechanical keys that have 70 million click life. There are Roamer-G switches as well with an actuation of 1.5mm. There are six programmable keys on board that can be customised based on the software.
In addition to this you get the same Lightspeed wireless technology that comes with the G603 mouse. This too has 1ms response rate and works in tandem with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) for easy setup.
Like the mouse, the G613 keyboard can also connect with multiple devices at once and uses two AA batteries to run. Logitech claims the battery life of the accessory to be up to 18 months. Furthermore, the LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) will also be giving notification alerts when the device is running low on battery.
To use the Lightspeed tech, the keyboard is compatible with Windows 7 or later SO versions, Mac OS X and later versions, Chrome OS and Android 3.2 and later versions. Same goes for the mouse.
