Thursday, November 28, 2013: L&T Technology Services signed a global master agreement with Bayer Technology Services (BTS) in Leverkusen, Germany to support efficient implementation of worldwide capital expenditure (CapEx) projects within the Bayer Group. This collaboration is furtherance towards the efficient implementation of worldwide capital expenditure (CapEx) projects within the Bayer Group.
With this agreement, L&T Technology Services will provide a dedicated team to Bayer that will use the established Bayer engineering systems, tools and methods, to bring about engineering solutions on the basis of BTS strategy. Describing the advantages of this new partnership, Dr Jürgen Hinderer, Head of BTS Engineering said, “In L&T Technology Services, we have found a competent and an experienced engineering partner with a global presence, with whom we can execute our CapEx projects safely, reliably and even more efficiently.” Hinderer also added that another objective of the partnership is the targeted reinforcement of the Bayer project team to support CapEx projects across the globe.
Speaking at the event, Christian Wende, BTS Sourcing Coordinator, said, “Bayer’s Technology Committee commissioned a global search for a qualified engineering company. Following intensive audits, we identified L&T as a suitable partner capable of providing us with competent support for our global projects.”
