Magicon Impex has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of UltraSmart Q50 Magnus. The company has given it a price tag of Rs 7,999 for the Indian market.
Magicon Q50 Magnus is a dual-SIM dual-standby phone that has a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM for processing.
It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and boasts 5.0-inch display. It also supports EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. On multimedia front, the device sports a 2.0-megapixel rear camera with 7x zoom capability and a VGA front camera.
Other major features include ambient light sensors for notifications, accelerometer (G-sensor), Micro-USB port and Wi-Fi Hotspot. The device can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card and a 1,650mAh battery to keep the device running.
On app front, the device does come preloaded with apps like myplex now which gives access to watch live TV and NewsHunt, a mobile newspaper app. Magicon UltraSmart Q50 Magnus is available in two colour variants – White and Black. The handset is available at popular e-commerce portals.
According to CP Batheja, CMD, Magicon Impex, fully owned Indian subsidiary of CONPLEX, “We haven’t made any compromise when it comes to functionality in our attempt to make the phone affordable.”
Of late, the budget smartphone market has again heated-up with some popular handsets like Nokia Asha 501 and Micromax Bolt series being launched for the Indian market.
