Matrix Comsec unveils Eternity-LE

Matrix Comsec, manufacturer of telecom and security solutions has recently launched a communication platform named Eternity-LE. It is a compact, one door system amongst the enterprise versions of private branch exchange (PBX) for voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and targets large enterprises.

The product allows its users to send not only SMS but also emails to its users through its unified messaging functionality or the SMS gateway system. By using this device an SMS can be created on a computer or a mobile phone in the form of an email and sent to IP PBX with the number to which it has to be sent, the IP PBX send this message to the recipient in the form of an SMS.

According to the company Eternity-LE is a innovative technology that has features like radio wave integration which allows calls to be connected to walkie-talkies through different extensions. Moreover, with the use of VoIP, one can receive the call on his/her mobile phone via internet connectivity, avoiding the GSM connection.

Eternity-LE is said to be a hybrid PBX that can be scaled up to 1500 user, hybrid because it allows three different communications in one-IP, analogue and digital (1344 analogue, 999 IP and 128 digital). It provides about 28 universal slots and offers advanced features such as IP telephony, mobility, multi-site, computer telephony integration (CTI) and video conferencing facility available too. The conferencing facility allows a total of 45 participants with a maximum of 21 participants in one conference.
