MeraEvents, a 360-degree end-to-end event technology company, has been chosen for the Pearl of Hyderabad Excellence Award for 
Event Services – Online category by the TCEI. The Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI) announced the TCEI event excellence Awards-2015 on August 18, 2015 in Hyderabad. The event was conducted to recognize and honor organizations and people who have been striving and contributing for the betterment of the events industry.
MeraEvents has been fuelling the growth of the event industry by offering cutting-edge technology solutions ranging from event listing, ticketing and promoting, to event check-in and badge printing, mobile agenda to event networking, digital brochures, to box office management services. These offerings have not only addressed the pain-points of event organizers, but have also been successful in bridging the gap between event organizers, event planners, event service providers and event attendees.
Chennapa Naidu Darapaneni, Founder & CEO of MeraEvents, and Sreekanth Rao Ponnala (Business Head – Entertainment) and Hirish Reddy J (Business Head – Professional) received the award on behalf of MeraEvents. The award was presented by renowned hotelier Aijaz Ali, COO, Golden Jubilee Hotels Ltd, Hyderabad.
TCEI is a not-for-profit professional trade body, which is an umbrella organization of Event Management, Wedding Planners, Entertainers, Exhibitions, Sound /Light/Video, Production, Venues, Caterers and other facilitators organises a gala industry event. It is the first-of-its kind professional body for event management industry in the Telangana state launched in August last year and joined an elite group of 4 states such as Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal who have their respective State-level event industry professional bodies.
Nominations for these awards were solicited in various categories with a minimal registration fee. The nominations were adjudged by a panel of experts and pioneers from the event industry.
Regarded as the Event of the Events Industry by the Events Industry for the Events Industry, this annual gala Awards Function was graced by Anurag Sharma, Director General of Police, Govt of Telangana and was attended by over 400 crème de la crème of the event and allied industries in the state.
