MeraEvents, a 360-degree end-to-end event technology company, has been presented the Best Software Product award in the Start-Up Enterprise Solutions (Late Stage) category by Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA).
The company has been selected from a list of finalists at the HYSEA’s Annual Summit and Awards 2015 held in Hyderabad on Thursday evening. The two-day event showcased the fledgling software products and services firms. The meet discussed the changing technology landscape and opportunities being unfolded in the areas of Internet of Things and cloud-based solutions. Hyderabad posted record exports of software worth Rs. 70,000 crore in the last financial year.
Governor of Telangana and AP ESL Narasimhan presented the award to Naidu Darapaneni, Founder CEO of MeraEvents.
Expressing his happiness over the recognition bestowed on MeraEvents, Naidu said: “The Company is on an aggressive growth curve. As a company, we have been growing by leaps and bounds ever since its inception over five years ago in general and in the last 3 months in particular.”
He added: “This award is surely a recognition to the hard work put in by all teams in MeraEvents. The process of selection for the award has given us immense satisfaction and also testified our capabilities. We are also at an advanced stage of raising a sum of USD 10 million funding for its global expansion and operations.”
In addition to this, MeraEvents is planning to expand to other geographies across the globe. The company will be opening its offices in Dubai, Singapore, London and USA by the end of June 2015 for a global footprint in events business. To begin with its global operations, MeraEvents will soon start selling tickets for the scientific conferences of OMICS International, the strategic investor in MeraEvents.
