Micromax has sorted to bring its old managers and senior leaders to the desks to figure out the emerging competition from local players in the Indian smartphone segment.
Industry veteran, Ajay Sharma has overtaken Prosonjit Sen as head of sales, Pan India. Also, former chief marketing officer, Shubhodip Pal has been brought back.There is an ongoing speculation that Pal may head the Yu Televentures, the wing of Micromax that only sells smartphones.
SInce, Micromax shares have dropped by 1.4 per cent in the 1st quarter of 2015. It rose to 17.7% by the last quarter of 2015 with the hike of almost 2 % .

Micromax reported an increase of 47 per cent in the annual sales growth bringing it to Rs 10.450 in 2014-15.
