The wait for Micromax Canvas 4 is finally over. With 11,500 pre-bookings in less than 36 hours, the company launched its flagship phone.
The latest Android smartphone was launched in the presence of Bollywood actor Chitrangada Singh today in New Delhi.
The smartphone sports a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS HD display and runs on 1.2 GHz quad core processor. Micromax Canvas 4 comes packed with Google’s latest Android 4.2.1 aka Jelly Bean operating system. Canvas 4 smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The camera of the smartphone features an image sensor which offers a good shooting experience with face detection, photosolid to increase precision, Geo-tagging, touch focus, smile and face detection, four direction panorama and 1080p video recorder.
Micromax Canvas4 packs 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory expandable upto 32 GB. The device is loaded with 2000mAh battery. The latest smartphone from the company sports a full aluminum mid-housing and users can just blow and unlock the device. The company touts the phone as a multitasking device, where users can watch a video and at the same time, they can watch a preview another video with ease, pause the video when they are not looking at the screen, or use the option of video pinning to continue surfing on the phone while the video continues to run.
