Micromax Canvas Tab Running Windows 10 Launched For Rs. 14999

Micromax Informatics has launched Windows 10 version of Canvas LapTab, a company’s first Windows 10 based device. In September, Microsoft unveiled Windows 10, improvements over number 8. The most important being the return of the familiar Start Menu. Other noteworthy changes are the ability to run touch-optimised (metro) apps in windowed-mode and ability to add multiple desktops (much like Android homescreens).

The Canvas LapTab was one of the highest selling laptops on the online platform Amazon for over 8 weeks during its launch period, has received very good user feedback and reviews. It is one of the first commercially available devices in India with pre-loaded Windows 10.

The company is now widening its distribution reach and making it available across channels, thereby expanding presence in the category. With the launch of the new version of the Canvas LapTab, Micromax aims at providing the latest technology with genuine pre-loaded Windows 10 OS continuing to democratize technology for the masses.

Powered by Intel 4th Generation Atom Quad core processor, the device sports a smart design, touch enabled display and 32GB flash storage space. This device aims to accelerate the adoption of the PC category by first-time users, while also addressing the needs of evolved users as a real portable yet smart device.
