Micromax has just introduced its Bolt series of smartphones. The Bolt Q355 has already been listed on the company’s website, though it contains no details regarding its availability and pricing. Although, no official press statement has been issued yet, the details are likely to be disclosed within the next few days.
The Bolt Q335 comes with an 11 cm (4.5-inch) FWVGA TFT display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Powered by a Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, the device is likely to come with 512MB of RAM and 4GB ROM, which is expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The much-awaited smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with fixed-focus and an LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera to capture selfies. With a 1650mAh, the phone claims to give 5.5 hours of talk time on 3G. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and supports dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA). Its connectivity options include GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and Bluetooth. Additionally, it comes with a built-in GPS tracker and preloaded applications like Askme, Clean Master, Dr. Safety, Snapdeal, Chaatz, Reverie, Opera max, Hotstar, Housing, NewsHunt, Paytm, Quickr, Giga jump and Mannons.
