Micromax Launches ‘India ka 3G phone’, Canvas Spark 2
With an aim to increase the usage of smartphones and internet, Indian smartphone manufacturer has launched a new pocket-friendly handset under its Canvas series. Dubbed as Canvas Spark 2, the phone has been termed as India ka 3G phone for being user friendly and economical at the same time. Following PM’s Make in India campaign, a large part of the phone has been manufactured at a local facility in India. Priced at Rs. 3999, the handset will go on sale in its first flash sale on Snapdeal from September 30 at 12 noon.
If we talk about the specifications, Micromax Canvas Spark 2 sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with 4GB internal storage, the device comes with expandability to 32GB more via microSD card. Packed with an 1800mAh battery, the device claims to deliver up to 324 hours of backup on standby mode.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It features a 5MP rear camera with 2MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies. With the connectivity of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, it comes with Firstouch language solution which enables its users to choose among ten regional languages to operate the phone. Right from clicking pictures to playing songs, the interface would turn into the language of your choice simplifying the overall mobile experience.
