Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures will offer 10,000 units on the first sale of its Yureka smartphone via Amazon India on January 13.
The Yu Yureka smartphone will be available to buy starting 2pm IST on Tuesday for registered users from Micromax’s official online partner for the handset. Sharma also added that the company saw elicited interest from overseas markets for its Yu Yureka smartphone, despite that the registrations were within India.
He also pointed that the company is working to ramp up the units. “We are working on ramping our capacities. Given the kind of enthusiasm that we have seen, we will increase the number of units put out for sale gradually,” Sharma said.
The Yu Yureka has been priced at Rs. 8,999, and sports some rather impressive specifications at the price.
