The second flash sale for Micromax Yu Yureka smartphone is over within 4 seconds, an official announcement has revealed. 15,000 Yureka units were available yesterday for the flash sale on leading online retail platform, Amazon.in, and all the units are now out of stock.
Yu is a new brand in the technology world which is trying to bring a revolution in the users’ experience with modern technology. The second flash sale of the smartphone has seen an immense response as 15,000 Yureka devices got sold within just four seconds. The device was first launched in December 2014 in India and it runs on Cyanogen OS. The company has also announced that going forth, Yureka will be sold through flash sale every Thursday at 2 pm on Amazon.
Exclusive OTA firmware updates and support will be provided in India. The Yu Yureka smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999. Registration for the next flash sale on 29 January will begin today at 5 pm. The first two rounds of the flash sales for Yu Yureka have seen an exceptional response. To ensure that a fixed schedule is followed for the sale and registration of the smartphone, a particular day has been selected for the flash sale, so that no exception happens in the buying experience for the customers.
Yu has also announced that any new development will be notified via their social media platforms and their developer specific forum too. During the first flash sale on 13 January, 10,000 units were claimed to have been sold within 3 seconds. Later a series of controversies gripped the company as well as Amazon over the actual number of units available for sale and also a technical glitch regarding the pricing of the device.
