Microsoft has launched its Windows 8.1 powered Lumia 532 smartphone in India for Rs 6,499. The Microsoft Lumia 532 comes with the latest Denim upgrade, which accords some camera and software enhances.
Microsoft Lumia 532 dual SIM sports 10.16-cm (4-inch) LCD WVGA display of 480×800 px. The phone is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. Microsoft Lumia 532 dual SIM features 5MP of fixed focus primary camera and 0.3MP of front facing camera with Lumia camera app. The device has 8GB of internal storage and microSD support up to 128GB.
On the connectivity front, it has dual SIM (GSM+GSM), 3G, WiFi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phone also brings MixRadio app preinstalled. Lumia 532 dual-SIM is sensor rich device. It has ambient light sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensors. The phone is fueled by 1560mAh battery that lasts for 12 hours and gives massive standby time of 528 hours.
Lumia 532 dual-SIM runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update. The device is pretty tiny in size. It has good built quality. The back cover is made using tough polycarbonate plastic. It measures 118.9 x 65.5 x 11.6 mm and it weighs only 136 grams. The company is targeting untapped dual-SIM smartphone market in India. This is a nice introduction by Microsoft in budget smartphone range. The phone will be available on all dealerships, partner vendors and leading e-commerce sites.
