Moto C, Moto C Plus, Moto E4 and Moto Z2 with dual rear camera leak in images

Lenovo has just launched its mid-range smartphones Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus in India. Now, leaks of four new smartphones that the company is allegedly working on have popped up. Images of the four alleged smartphones — going by the name Moto C, Moto C Plus, Moto E4 and Moto Z2 — have surfaced on Slashleaks website.
Speculations suggest that Moto C, C Plus and E4 are budget smartphones, while Moto Z2 will be a flagship model.
In the images, Moto C and C Plus look nearly identical. Both images show the handsets’ front, back and one side. The Moto C Plus seems slightly thinner than the Moto C. The Moto C is also seen with a camera bump at the back along with a speaker at the bottom. There are three capacitive buttons at the front below the display along with the volume and power buttons on the right side. LED flash on both back and front is visible.
The Moto E4 looks more premium than the Moto C and the C Plus smartphones. The smartphone is seen with a front fingerprint sensor on the home button and a back panel design similar to that of the Moto G5. The device also seems to be made out of metal and like the Moto C devices, has a circular rear camera setup. LED flash are available for both front and rear cameras.
Moto Z2, which could be the next flagship smartphone, shares a similar look from its predecessor, the Moto Z. The same prominent rear camera bump is visible with a sleek build and POGO pin connectors at the rear bottom side. Similar camera setup with LED flash on both front and back are seen along with a fingerprint sensor below the display. What’s interesting here is that the device is seen with a dual rear camera. If true, this would be the first Moto smartphone to come with such feature. Although not many changes are seen on the outside, there could be a major overhaul in the display resolution, processor, camera and battery.
If the images are any indication, Motorola definitely has a lot of surprises up its sleeve for this year. Not only it seems to get ready to launch a dual-rear camera but also introduce a whole new ‘C’ series as well. There is no word as to when these devices will be unveiled. However, since the company revealed its Moto Z last year in June at the Lenovo Tech World show, we can expect the Z2 to arrive at this year’s event.
