Motorola has slashed the prices of its second-generation Moto E smartphone in India. The company has cut the price of both 3G and 4G variants of the smartphone by Rs 1,000.
After the price cut, both 3G and 4G variants of the Moto E (second-generation) are available for Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively.
The entry-level smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart. Additionally, the e-tailer is also offering an exchange offer on the smartphone. Under this offer, users can trade in their old smartphone to get a discount of up to Rs 2,000.
Moto E (second-generation) sport a 4.5-inch display of 540x960p resolution, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. The phone offers 8GB internal storage and supports micro-SD card of up to 32GB.
The 3G variant of the smartphone runs on 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 32-bit processor whearas the 4G variant is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
Connectivity options in both the variants include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.
The price cut comes just a few days ahead of the company’s July 28 event, where it is expected to launch third-generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones.
