It looks like Motorola is all set to introduce Moto Maxx, its high-end smartphone in the Indian market. Flipkart, which is Motorola’s exclusive retail partner, has started teasing the phone via its social network accounts.
Motorola has heavily invested in social media marketing for Moto Maxx. The device has ballistic nylon design. This material with distinctive texture and rich color also adds durability to the phone. Motorola has integrated DuPont Kevlar fiber layer to the phone, this material makes the phone five times stronger than steel.
Moto Maxx also has a protected covering of water repellent nano coating, which makes it water resistant but this is not completely water proof device. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. Motorola Maxx sports 13.20-cm (5.2-inch) QHD AMOLED display of 1440×2560 px resolution. The device is powered by 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Moto Maxx has Adreno 420 GPU that ensures great gaming experience.
Moto Maxx features 21MP of primary camera with dual-LED flash and 2 MP of front facing camera for video calling. Maxx offers number of connectivity features like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and 4G LTE. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Motorola has promised to ship Android 5.0 Lollipop in near future. The company has themed the Android OS with Motorola’s UI which brings similar features and pre-installed apps as Moto X.
The phone comes with 64 GB of internal storage and 3900 mAh battery. Motorola has integrated an amazing feature called turbo-charging which provides up to 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes of charging.
