Motorola has issued a press release with a “Save The Date” heading, indicating an upcoming event on April 3 in New Delhi. The company promises that attendees will experience a blend of art and intelligence at the event. While the specifics of the event are yet to be disclosed, there are speculations that Motorola might unveil the Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone. However, Motorola has not officially confirmed this model’s launch. It’s worth noting that Motorola recently introduced the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and the Moto G 5G (2024) in the US, although they are not currently available in India.

The press note emphasized the integration of “art” and “intelligence,” hinting at advanced AI-driven features in the upcoming device. In China, Motorola has teased the launch of the Moto X50 Ultra as an “AI Mobile Phone,” which is anticipated to be introduced globally as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

Leaks have surfaced providing insights into the design and color options of the forthcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The device is expected to be offered in black, purple, and white variants, with the white model featuring a stone-like pattern. Renderings depict variations with triple rear camera setups and faux leather finishes. Interestingly, the leaked images displayed the date April 3 on the lock screen, prompting speculation that it could mark the launch date for this model.

In the United States, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro may debut as the Motorola Edge+ (2024). Rumors suggest that the smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. It is anticipated to sport a curved 6.7-inch display boasting a 165Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel lens, a 13mm wide-angle lens, and a 73mm telephoto shooter with up to 6x zoom capability.
