Motorola is gearing up to introduce its latest addition to the Edge series in India, following the launch of the Edge 50 Pro. After teasing the device, Motorola has now revealed the official launch date for the Edge 50 Fusion. While the Edge 50 Ultra was part of the global launch lineup last month, it has yet to make its debut in India.
Scheduled for release on May 16th, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s launch event is set to commence at 12 pm. Ahead of its official unveiling, a dedicated page for the device has already been created on Flipkart. The microsite provides insight into the handset’s design and specifications, confirming its availability in three distinct colors: Marshmallow Blue, Forest Blue, and Hot Pink.
As the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has already been launched globally, details regarding its features and specifications are readily available. Priced at EUR 399 (approximately Rs 35,400) for the base variant, it is expected to be priced competitively in India. Comparatively, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro carries a starting price of Rs 31,999 in the Indian market.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display, offering a high refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the imaging front, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera, accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera.
In terms of battery life, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion houses a robust 5,000mAh battery, supported by 68W TurboPower fast charging technology.
