Jai Ganesh, previously with Cognizant Technology Solutions and 
Infosys, has joined Mphasis as Vice-President and Head of Mphasis Next Labs.
Mphasis Next Labs is a strategic initiative by Mphasis to research and innovate on emergent and future paradigms related to Mphasis’ focus areas through disruptive world class innovations, thought leadership and industry relevant solutions.
In his current role, Ganesh will lead Mphasis Next Labs to focus on disruptive and transformational innovations in the Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud), IoT and Automation space through applied research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product, service, platform and solution development.
Ganesh joins Mphasis from Cognizant Technology Solutions where he was the director, SMAC Solutions. In his role Jai had leadership responsibilities in the SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud) space across innovation, technology strategy, research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product development. He led the creation of the Customer Engagement Platform, which is a patent pending Big Data Analytics platform that transforms enterprise decision making.
Ganesh has extensive experience in inventing, conceptualising, building and commercializing successful product and service innovations across SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics & Cloud) areas. Mphasis Next Labs will work with Academia, Research Labs, Start-ups and New Technology Partners.

Ganesh is a PhD from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). He is a recipient of the Chevening Rolls-Royce Science and Innovation Fellowship at the University of Oxford.
