announced that it has successfully deployed DL4000 Backup and Recovery Appliance, running Dell AppAssure for MPS Limited, an end-to-end publishing services provider that helps transform and enrich content for print, online and mobile media. With the deployment of solutions, MPS Limited was able to enjoy greater productivity with faster data recovery without any backup runs.
MPS Limited was building a scalable and easy-to-manage IT infrastructure, for which, it needed a backup and recovery solution to match the high-performance environment. The organization chose Dell DL4000 Back Up and Recovery Appliance, running Dell AppAssure software as it proved to be 54 percent more cost effective than competing cloud based solutions and scored a higher rating in comparison with other competitors.

MPS Limited achieved a number of benefits from the deployment of the Dell product. The solution reduced the recovery time objective (RTO) down 98 percent to one hour and recovery point objective (RPO) down 92 percent to two hours. Moreover, the IT team of MPS Limited was able to respond quickly, recovering lost data or old publications through Dell AppAssure within a few hours.
Dell’s technology is driving growth and innovation across MPS Limited as it is helping them protect business-critical and older data of around 17 terabytes. After successfully testing and deploying Dell’s Backup and recovery solution at their Bangalore center, MPS Limited is all set to rollout the solution across other sites too.
