In an endeavor to help government to make India Swachh, neoteric along with its group companies has conducted a drive, ‘Pledge with us to make India Shine’ in Mumbai recently. Expressing their solidarity to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the drive was conducted keeping with the vision of contributing to a clean, healthy and flourishing India.
Over 90 team members from across different departments and teams including the CEO and Directors together came out on the streets with broomsticks and dustbins in hand, in a bid to clean up the entire neighbourhood and surroundings. They urged all the corporates in the building and the entire IT fraternity at large, to abstain from throwing any garbage/waste on the road or street but dispose it only in dustbins or suitable locations provided for the same.
This drive is in continuation to neoteric & its group companies’ ‘2nd Home’ Cleanliness Drive which was launched during this Diwali with an objective of ensuring the upkeep of cleanliness in their ‘office’- their 2nd Home. It seeks to consistently ensure clean work-stations and rides on the mantra of ‘Reduce-Reuse-Recycle’ of paper-waste, garbage-waste and technology-waste. Staying true to the belief that ‘Cleanliness begins at Home’, the organization launched the internal drive and after its successful launch, extended it to the nationwide ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.
Leading by its own example, neoteric has ‘challenged’ its neighbouring corporate offices to clean up their spaces better than them and in turn, create a chain of challenges. This neoteric initiative was covered by Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM to encourage other corporates to participate in similar drives( please refer to the enclosed the audio-clip).
Dipti Shah, Director- HR said, “Supporting this national campaign is in line with our organization’s focus on doing responsible business and encouraging team-members to continue being responsible citizens. Our branch offices have also joined us in this effort and moving forward, we seek to continue sensitizing corporates to take on the onus of ensuring cleanliness within and outside their own office premises as well as that of their branch-offices, if any.”
