Tuesday, September 10, 2013: NetIQ® today announced that Forrester Research has named NetIQ a leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM), and received the highest score in current offering in The Forrester Wave™: Identity And Access Management Suites, Q3 20131, NetIQ was one of nine companies invited by Forrester Research to participate in this assessment, which evaluated each vendor’s current offering, strategy and market presence.
In the report, Forrester Research singled out NetIQ as having consistently built a strong stack of identity and access management products.
Forrester Research also named NetIQ as one of the leaders that provide an “IAM suite that encompasses identity provisioning (Identity Manager), attestation (Access Governance Suite), web SSO and federation (Access Manager)” with “easy-to-use interfaces, a differentiated vision and thought leadership for IAM, and strong execution.
Examples of NetIQ’s differentiated IAM vision and thought leadership include Identity Tracking for Identity Manager, which offers intelligence about the activities of specific identities, SocialAccess, which provides an easy way for customers and other users to identify themselves with social credentials, and CloudAccess, which enables single sign-on to private and public cloud applications.
