An indoor signal booster from Wilson Electronics (www.wilsonelectronics.com), manufacturer of North America’s top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, is one of 31 finalists in the Best New Product category of the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) 2013 Manufacturers Excellence Awards.
CEDIA, the industry association for professionals who design and install home technology, named the Wilson CI 2070 a finalist for the award which recognizes the top new products in the residential electronic systems industry. The CI 2070 is a multi-carrier cellular booster that supports all North American cellular standards. The competition honors innovation and creativity and helps illustrate the many ways technology enhances the home.
“We are especially thrilled to have a signal booster from the Wilson Certified Installer product line recognized by CEDIA for the second year in a row,” said Blake Seese, Wilson’s custom integrator business development director. “It is an important achievement for the CI 2070 to be named a Best New Product finalist in CEDIA’s 2013 Manufacturers Excellence Awards.”
The CI 2070, now available exclusively for members of Wilson’s Certified Installer (WCI) program, enhances 4G as well as earlier generation signals for all cellular carriers’ networks. This advanced signal booster supports LTE and other cellular technologies used in North America to provide strong, reliable voice and data coverage indoors for up to 80,000 square feet.
Benefits include significantly extended in-building cellular coverage, reliable connections even in areas of weak signals, fewer dropped connections and no-service “dead zones,” better voice quality, faster data rates on 4G and 3G networks, and improved cellular device battery life.
Winners of CEDIA’s 2013 Manufacturers Excellence Awards will be announced at a press conference Friday, Sept. 27 and recognized at the Electronic Lifestyles Awards Celebration on Sept. 28. Both events are to be held in conjunction with CEDIA Expo 2013 in Denver.
Wilson Electronics will exhibit Sept. 25-28 at CEDIA Expo 2013 in booth 1747 of the Colorado Convention Center.
